Liz, Kathy, and family,
We were so saddened to hear about Cubie. He was one of our best friends. I could always expect him to drop in at the house for coffee or come to our camp and spend many hours with us. I have a wonderful memory of Cubie and Liz sitting at our table at Lake Bonaparte looking at pictures and enjoying a day at the lake. I have a picture of you and Cubie sitting there. We wanted to make it up to see him about 3 weeks ago but Bob ended up in the hospital and we couldn't come. We were so sorry.
We love you. May God bless you and family until you meet him again.
Love, Bob and Peggy

We are terribly sorry for your loss of this good man. It was a pleasure to have known him. Every time we ran into him he made the kids and I laugh. His friendly, easygoing personality and love of the Lord will be what I remember most about Cubie. I offer you my thoughts, prayers and well-wishes during this time in your lives.

Liz and family, I want you to know how sorry I am for your loss. Cubie was an important part of my upbringing, he was a fixture at our kitchen table with his cup of coffee. I loved to see him come, he always picked on me and my sisters and we picked right back. I have sooo many wonderful memories of Cubie. One day in winter I wanted to go to our camp at Lake Bonaparte and Cubie decided to venture w/ us and there was 4 or 5 foot of snow and it seemed impossible to get into camp but he wouldn't give up and we made it in. We had a GREAT time! Love him and will miss him!

I just read on Facebook that Cubie had passed away and I am so deeply saddened for all those who loved him and will miss him though he be at rest now. As the smallest person in the class of '65, I could always look to Cubie to be my dance partner at high school dances and just be generally a great guy to be around. I haven't seen Cubie in a long time but I will always remember him fondly for his caring personality. God has gained a great man.

Dear Family, So sorry to learn of Cubie's death. I was not aware that he was having health problems, so this came as quite a shock. He was a dear cousin, that in our early years the family would come down to East Syracuse to our farm, and from there they would go to the New York State Fair. One time, while waiting to go, he came out with "Let's go climb a rock". Up north there were lots of rocks to climb, but at our place, it was flat as a pancake.
It made us all laugh. God Bless you Cubie, you will be missed by all that enjoyed your company.

To Cubie's family, I hadn't seen Cubie is many years, but my late husband Jim introduced me to him when we were going together back in 1967 and Jim and he were good friends. Anytime I ran into Cubie he was just so nice. Talking to him was as good as getting hugged by someone else. Nice guy. I am sincerely sorry for your loss.

Mike and Cubie were cousins by blood and brothers by love. They spent their youth together and had an enduring kinship throughout the years. When Cubie and I first met, he told me "I've got one just like you at home" when I met his wife Liz, I realized what a nice thing he meant. She was devoted to him and he adored her. Even though he liked to tease me, he was a gentle giant. Cubie and Mike told so many stories of their escapades during their youth and could leave you laughing even if you were in a bad mood. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Karen and Mike Verescak

I am so saddened to hear this news today. Cubie was always one of my favorite people. I will always cherish my memories of him and I playing cards, snow shoeing, getting 5 gallon pails of water, falling through the ice, and so very many more!! He was a wonderful man who had the heart of gold. ❤️
