Obituary of Dale Bishop
SACKETS HARBOR- Dale Bishop, 70, of Monroe St, passed away on Tuesday July 16th, 2019. Arrangements have been entrusted to North Country Cremation Services, Chaumont.
Dale was born May 5th, 1949 to the late Floyd and Betty Bishop. He attended local schools and did flooring installation before being the caretaker of the Sackets Harbor Cemeteries.
If you knew Dale you will remember his opinionated and stubborn nature, his generosity and his sense of humor. He loved to play cards and shoot pool. He was a fan of the New York Yankees, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially at barbeques.
Dale is survived by his ex-wife and close friend Sharon Bishop, Watertown, his children: Jeff (Suzanne) Bishop, Chaumont, and Chad Bishop, Watertown. He is also survived by his sisters: Margaret Bockus, Sackets Harbor, and Kerry Lucas of SC. along with his grandson Jacob Waite, step-grandchildren Christopher Baughman, and Todd (Randi) Baughman, a step great-granddaughter Abigail Baughman, and many nieces and nephews.
Dale is predeceased by his siblings: Floyd Bishop Jr., Keith Bishop, and Sharon Groff.
