Obituary of Timothy J. Mason

Henderson Harbor-Timothy J. Mason, 72, of Henderson Harbor passed away early Monday morning November 16, 2015 at his home, under the care of Hospice and surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of North Country Cremation Service. Timothy was born on July 9, 1943 in Watertown, NY. He is the son of the late Thomas and Elaine (Major) Mason. He graduated from Sackets Harbor High School in 1961 and enlisted in the United States Army. After his enlistment he joined the Rochester Police Department where he served as a Police Officer until his retirement in 1992. He was and avid fisherman and New York Mets fan. He is survived by his husband Steven Troth of Henderson Harbor and his son Scott D. Mason and his wife Carol of North Carolina. He is survived by his grandson Max Mason and step granddaughter Anna Mason. Donations in Timothy’s memory may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County 1398 Gotham St. Watertown, NY 13601.
